Women’s Intergenerational Group
St. Peter’s has officially developed a new Women’s Intergenerational Group. Our first meeting was held on Wednesday, June 16 at 9:30 a.m. in the Demack room. Thelma Ryan, Natalie Heigh, Madolyn Shepherd and Trish Shatford were in attendance while Alberta Amberman and Kay Willson were there in spirt and gave their full support.
It was decided that we would meet monthly to discuss things we would like to see done at St. Peter’s and ways in which we could help these things happen. Starting in September we will alternate meeting in the morning and evening to make it possible for more people to attend.
A few ideas that were discussed were going through the historical records to see what events were done in the past that were successful and try and plan a few. We discussed having a Bingo night at the church with an adult bingo as well as a candy bingo for the youth of St. Peters. More details to follow.
